STIL IRL: Kaitlyn Parker
April 21, 2019
Name: Kaitlyn Parker
Location: Virginia Beach
Occupation: Copywriter & Brand Strategist
Oh my gosh, I used to search ENDLESSLY for a new planner & notebook each year. But I never liked them and couldn't even get through a few months of using them. I honestly used to buy up to 3-4 in a year! Once I found STIL's perfectly minimal, thoughtfully designed, and effective products, I knew exactly where to go for all of my planning and office supply needs. They are both beautiful and functional, keep me organized, are professional enough to use in my social media content for my business, and have definitely contributed to my productivity.
Oh my gosh, I used to search ENDLESSLY for a new planner.
My routine: Each Sunday, I'll review my 12M planner for all personal obligations, errands, and house things that need to be done, as well as where I want to make sure I schedule in time for family, friends, and self-care (although I can always be better about that one!). As a copywriter & brand strategist who works mostly with other creative entrepreneurs, I then open up my Stil x Bumble planner and begin adding in any client appointments, calls, or deadlines for that week. I re-record any tasks from the previous week that maybe didn't get done, and then write them out by priority as much as possible. This has kept me really focused throughout my workday.
2019 Planner (in ZAND): I carry a big canvas tote around, so everything stays with me all day, or in a little book stand whenever I'm at my desk working. I use my 12M planner to pretty much plan out my year and personal life. Since it's dated, I can record all personal events, vacations, parties, birthdays, holidays, you name it. I also love how the 12M planner has the planning sheets at the front of each month, and honestly, it's just so beautiful and crisp that it actually makes me happy to open it up each day.
STIL x Bumble Planner: Before I got the STIL x Bumble Planner, I used it for recording all of my work tasks, too, but I love how the STIL x Bumble planner has allowed me to keep my business tasks separate and has given me so much more room to jot down everything I need to get done that week, since it doesn't always get done in a day.
Exposé: The Exposé is the perfect catch-all bag for me without having to dig through my bag to find something! I’ve used it for everything from holding business receipts, to holding items I take to the pool, to holding my daily essentials, to a stand-alone clutch. It really does it all!
