STIL is a female-run and founded company that launched in 2015 by Marissa Cristina to empower others to be their best, organized selves. We offer organizational products to inspire everyone to take charge of their busy days and buzzing social lives to make room for little moments that are just for them.
What does STIL mean?
STIL (German Noun // 'Der Stil') : style, class, fashion and a way of living. Marissa is half Dutch and half Swiss so the name is inspired by her roots. The name was inspired by a Dutch artistic movement called De Stijl. They simplified visual compositions and used only primary shapes and colors. That's why our logo only shows the essentials.
MEET THE FOUNDER
Marissa Cristina Grootes
Marissa is the founder and CEO at STIL. She started the company with the intention of empowering women, like her, to get things done. Marissa is in charge of running STIL, has successfully launched 2 Kickstarter campaigns, is a 30 under 30 winner and TEDx speaker. In 2017 Marissa was diagnosed with MS and it has completely shifted her focus in life. Exercise, living mindfully and eating well are now at the top of her priority list and running her business is keeping her strong.
